7pm Workshop:  Winter Prep with Kent Porter

Kent Porter has been beekeeping for approximately five years and currently manages between 50 and 60 colonies across Johnston and Wake Counties. He is a Journeyman Beekeeper working toward his Master Beekeeper certification.

In addition to maintaining his apiaries, Kent enjoys producing and selling locally sourced bees, honey, and beeswax. His experience managing a growing number of colonies has given him a strong foundation in practical beekeeping and apiary management.

Tito is the founder of RALEIGH BEE (https://raleighbee.com), a small NCSBA Certified Honey Producer located 2 miles east of the State Capitol. Tito is a Certified Beekeeper in North Carolina, and is the Vice President of the Wake County Beekeeper Association.
