Join fellow club members for a group build day for frames and hive bodies.  If you have not put together your own frames or boxes, or you have a really good system to share, this workshop is for you!  Don't let the 2026 season start without having your equipment ready!  This event is for club members only. 

Two options to participate:

Participants: We are inviting members to bring their own frames foundation, and hive bodies to the workshop for assistance from volunteers.'  Register as a participant if you will come to build your own.

Club supplies will be shared, such as wood glue, staples, nails and wire. 

Volunteers: We are looking to sign up volunteers that have pneumatic nailers, jigs, and techniques to share with new beekeepers to show them how to assemble frames and hive bodies.   Please register as a volunteer if you can help!

If you wish to assemble frames with WAX foundation, please purchase frames with WEDGE TOP BARS and SPLIT BOTTOM BARS for best results.   Detailed instructions for properly wiring in deep frames with wax foundation will be provided.  The split bottom bar allows for extra long vertical wires to pass through the frame and prevent bowing of the foundation.

Frames to be used with PLASTIC foundation are usually grooved top and bottom bars.
