Our June meeting speaker will be Anya McGuirk. Anya lives on a small farm in Holly Springs, NC where she has been keeping anywhere between 2 and 25 colonies of bees for 8 years now. Anya first became interested in hive monitoring through her research at SAS where she was a Distinguished Research Statistician in the Internet of Things R&D division.  Before coming to SAS, she was a full professor at Virginia Tech in the Departments of Agricultural Economics and Statistics.
